I have always cared about the well-being of all animals, so I love the line of work I am in. It all started when I was young as my parents always allowed me to have many different animals at home.

I started as a high school co-op student at the age of 16 and have 30 plus years of experience in the industry including a veterinary emergency clinic for 11 years. This is where I first met Dr. Spence. I then heard that she had opened a new clinic in Etobicoke and contacted her. The rest is history! I officially joined IVAH in March of 2011. Now you can find me supervising the day-to-day behind-the-scenes activities at the hospital, But of course, I sneak my way to the treatment area to cuddle as many furry friends as I can!

I currently have three dogs–Daphne, Mia, and Zoey. I also have a 20-year-old cockatiel named Alfalfa who loves to torment the dogs!

In my spare time, I love to cook, garden, and spend time with my husband and two adult children. I am also known to have a habit of fostering pets in need, helping to find them forever homes. I think it is important to show them love and make sure they know that there are good people out there who will love and care for them.
